Hello everyone, i am a mother of 3 and a foster parent to my niece and nephew. they have been living with myself and my husband for a year now. My oldest nephew was here as well but he decided that he wanted to break into a neighbors house and was taken back by the DHS. my husband and I are seriously behind on all of our bills because of the task of taking in the children. The DHS office has yet to send us any monetary help as foster parents. we have basically went broke and in debt as a result of this and the fact that I am only working part-time now. I't been a struggle for sure but I wouldn't change my decision to take the kids. I love them to death and even though we are in a seriously tight situation we are still a loving family. We are behind on our vehicle payments, our mortgage is 3 payments behind. We just don't know what to do. We've done everything that the DHS requires and then some and we still haven't recieved any help. We don't want to lose everything that we have we worked so hard to get what we have but we are seriously in a sticky tight siuation. Can Someone just tell us that it will be okay.
